Privacy Policy
1. Data controller
This website (fotoforum.org.tr) belongs to FOTOFORUM - Trabzon Fotoğraf Sanatı Derneği (Trabzon Photographic Arts Association), which is the data controller for the personal data processed through it. 2. Data that is processed
Technical data: The site is delivered through Cloudflare. To deliver pages securely, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the time of the request, and may produce aggregate visit statistics without using cookies.
Analytics (only with your consent): If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics 4 collects usage data such as the pages you view, your approximate location, your device and browser type, and the links you click. If you do not accept, Google Analytics is not loaded at all.
Map and fonts: The map on the home page is loaded from Google Maps, and the typeface used on the site is loaded from Google Fonts. When this content loads, your IP address and browser information are transmitted to Google; Google may use its own cookies for the map.
Email: If you email the association, your email address and the content of your message are processed in order to reply to you.
The site has no membership, form or payment features, and does not ask you to enter any personal data.
3. Cookies and local storage
Your theme and cookie choices are stored in your browser's local storage and stay on your device. Analytics cookies (such as _ga) are set only after you click “Accept”. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the “Cookie Preferences” link at the bottom of the page.
4. Purposes, legal bases and transfers
Technical data is processed on the basis of the legitimate interest in operating the site securely; analytics data on the basis of your explicit consent; and emails in order to respond to your request.
Your data is never sold. It is shared only with the service providers that make the site work: Cloudflare, Inc. (hosting and security) and Google (map, fonts and, if you consent, analytics). These providers may process data on servers abroad, including in the United States.
5. Retention
Analytics data is kept in Google Analytics for no longer than 14 months. Emails are kept for as long as the correspondence requires. Preferences in local storage stay on your device until you clear your browser data.
6. Your rights
Under Article 11 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to learn whether your data is processed, to access it, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to processing, and to withdraw your consent at any time.
You can send your requests to iletisim@fotoforum.org.tr; they will be answered within 30 days at the latest. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority or the data protection authority of your country.

The Instagram, Facebook, X and Google Maps links lead to services that have their own privacy policies; the association is not responsible for their practices. This policy may be updated; the current version is always published on this page.
